THERE IS AN OPPORTUNE TIME... JUST WAIT. - LE MOMENT OPPORTUN SE PRÉSENTE... ATTENDEZ.

When you look majorly at yourself, you will be blindsided about a lot of things. Egocentric people love themselves so much that they believe that they know everything that they need to know about themselves. Any other opinion that does not agree with their own assessment, no matter how genuine it is, is taken as an insult. We now live in a world that encourages us to blow our own trumpets and many have done a really bad job trying to do that. Not every popular counsel is worth your salt. There are some things that we need to allow to blow our trumpet without us being the initiator. 

If there is any time that the advice to blow our own trumpet is loudest, it is now. And most people are blowing trumpets to attract people to unfinished business. That may be you. We have to know that attracting attention to unfinished or shoddy business is detrimental to any pursuit. When you decide to invite people into something, make sure that you are putting your best foot forward and giving them an experience to look forward to. 

It is better to allow your actions to introduce you before you magnify your success on available platforms. When you blow yourself trumpet too soon, it makes people to have unrealistic expectations that might not be met by the realities. A lot of people blow their trumpets because they think that the louder and more visible they are, the quicker their success. This might actually be counterproductive when actions do not measure up to the hype.

The temptation to blow our trumpet happens to the most modest of us but the point is that we have the ability to curtail that temptation if we decide to deal with the urge to be known and applauded. 'Blow your own trumpet' is not always wise counsel because you might be doing that at an inappropriate time. A beautiful painting can be ruined by revealing the unfinished work before it can be appreciated.

Quand on se concentre toujours sur soi-même, on est souvent surpris par bien des choses. Les personnes égocentriques s'aiment tellement qu'elles pensent tout savoir d'elles-mêmes. Toute opinion qui contredit leur propre analyse, aussi sincère soit-elle, est perçue comme une insulte. Nous vivons aujourd'hui dans un monde qui nous incite à nous vanter, et nombreux sont ceux qui s'y prennent très mal. Tous les conseils populaires ne se valent pas. Il y a des choses pour lesquelles il vaut mieux laisser les choses se faire naturellement, sans forcément en être à l'initiative.

S'il y a bien un moment où l'on nous encourage à nous vanter, c'est maintenant. Et la plupart des gens le font pour attirer l'attention sur des projets inachevés. C'est peut-être votre cas. Il faut savoir qu'attirer l'attention sur un travail bâclé ou inachevé est préjudiciable à toute entreprise. Lorsque vous décidez d'inviter des gens à participer à un projet, assurez-vous de faire bonne impression et de leur offrir une expérience mémorable.

 Il est préférable de laisser vos actions parler d'elles-mêmes avant de crier votre succès sur les réseaux sociaux. Se vanter trop tôt risque de créer des attentes irréalistes, qui pourraient ne pas être comblées. Nombreux sont ceux qui se mettent en avant, persuadés que plus ils sont visibles et bruyants, plus leur succès sera rapide. Or, cette stratégie peut s'avérer contre-productive si les résultats ne sont pas à la hauteur des espérances.

Même les plus modestes sont tentés de se vanter, mais nous avons la capacité de résister à cette tentation si nous décidons de maîtriser notre besoin de reconnaissance et d'éloges. « Se vanter » n'est pas toujours judicieux, car cela peut arriver au mauvais moment. Un beau tableau peut être gâché si l'on dévoile une œuvre inachevée avant qu'elle ne soit pleinement appréciée.

If only we can pay attention to the way we see ourselves, we will be in a better place to evaluate matters and approach them in constructive and substantial ways. Knowing who we really are means we can be honest with ourselves. The way you deal with yourself determines the way others relate with. You cannot disrespect yourself and expect that others will respect you. The best thing you can do for yourself is accept who you are be that will give you the right parameters to judge yourself before others do. 

The way people see themselves affects the decisions they make and most times, they do not even understand how they are arriving at such conclusions. They often blame external factors. That is why it is absolutely important for everyone to be honest with themselves. Changing your location doesn't change the way you see yourself, in fact, it might amplify it. The only thing that changes you is a change in the parameters you are using to gauge yourself. 

The measurements you use to weigh anything or issue will ultimately affect the results you get. It is good to listen to what people say about you(not every opinion is useless) and weigh it against the way you see yourself and sift through to make honest evaluation of yourself. When you have worked out the standards that you need to deal with your perception of yourself, it makes it easy for you to eliminate what does not define you. Then you can drop all such perception from what is important when you are making serious decisions that will determine the direction of your life.

 You need to check the parameters you are using to gauge yourself, not the results that you are getting. That is the way to correct your perception and make your life work in a more productive manner.

Si seulement nous étions attentifs à l'image que nous avons de nous-mêmes, nous serions mieux placés pour évaluer les situations et les aborder de manière constructive et pertinente. Se connaître soi-même, c'est être honnête avec soi-même. La façon dont on se traite détermine la façon dont les autres interagissent avec nous. On ne peut se manquer de respect et espérer être respecté en retour. Le meilleur service que l'on puisse se rendre est d'accepter qui l'on est ; cela nous permettra de nous juger avec justesse avant que les autres ne le fassent.

La façon dont on se perçoit influence nos décisions, et bien souvent, on n'en comprend même pas le raisonnement. On a souvent tendance à blâmer des facteurs extérieurs. C'est pourquoi il est essentiel d'être honnête avec soi-même. Changer de lieu ne modifie pas la façon dont on se perçoit ; au contraire, cela peut l'amplifier. Seuls les critères d'évaluation de soi changent la perception. 

Les critères que l'on utilise pour évaluer une situation ou un problème influencent inévitablement les résultats obtenus. Il est bon d'écouter ce que les autres disent de vous (toutes les opinions ne sont pas inutiles) et de le confronter à l'image que vous avez de vous-même afin de vous évaluer honnêtement. Lorsque vous aurez défini les critères qui vous permettent d'évaluer votre propre perception, il vous sera plus facile d'éliminer ce qui ne vous définit pas. Vous pourrez alors faire abstraction de ces perceptions lorsque vous prendrez des décisions importantes qui détermineront le cours de votre vie.

Vous devez examiner les paramètres que vous utilisez pour vous évaluer, et non les résultats obtenus. C'est ainsi que vous corrigerez votre perception et que vous mènerez une vie plus productive.

When watching long distance races, I notice that many of the runners start at a comfort pace and increase speed tow the last laps. It looks like a technique that works because it conserves energy for when it matters the most. When we start pursuing a vision we are passionate about, there is the burst of energy that comes from the euphoria of finally seeing what has been a dream all along coming to reality. 

Expectations are usually high at the beginning of any new venture but like everything else in life, no pursuit is linear no matter how prepared we are. The unexpected is a part of life and no one is smart enough to capture all the possible challenges that life will throw at us as we navigate our path. No matter how excited or energetic we are, we all get to a point where we run low because things begin to lose steam. The excitement begins to wane so does the energy and the passion. 

The difference between those who succeed and those who quit, is the ability to keep going even when the road seems foggy and we can no longer see the coverted horizon. This is the portion of the journey that separates the wheat from the chaff. You have to keep up pace even in such down times because many times, the 

moments of least expectations can become the most significant part of your journey.

In the process of pursuing a dream, we come to places where things plateau and it looks like we are not moving. This season of almost redundancy can be frustrating and discouraging. Expectations are low and energy is depleted. This is the time to make up your mind to keep going no matter the pace. Many people have missed important opportunities at times like these. No part of the journey is more important than the other. The journey is made up different seasons and if you understand that every season is important to the overall results, it will be easier for you to accomplish that vision that you are so passionate about.

En regardant des courses de fond, je remarque que beaucoup de coureurs partent à une allure confortable et accélèrent dans les derniers tours. Cette technique semble efficace car elle permet de conserver son énergie pour les moments cruciaux. Lorsque nous nous lançons dans la poursuite d'une vision qui nous passionne, nous ressentons une énergie intense, alimentée par l'euphorie de voir enfin un rêve se réaliser.

Les attentes sont généralement élevées au début de toute nouvelle entreprise, mais comme pour tout dans la vie, rien n'est linéaire, aussi bien préparés soient-ils. L'imprévu fait partie intégrante de la vie et nul n'est assez prévoyant pour anticiper tous les obstacles qu'elle nous réserve. Malgré notre enthousiasme et notre énergie débordante, nous finissons tous par nous essouffler, car l'élan s'essouffle. L'excitation, l'énergie et la passion s'estompent.

La différence entre ceux qui réussissent et ceux qui abandonnent réside dans la capacité à persévérer, même lorsque le brouillard obscurcit la route et que l'horizon se voile. C'est dans cette phase du parcours que l'on distingue le bon grain de l'ivraie. Il faut maintenir le cap, même dans les moments difficiles, car bien souvent, les périodes où l'on a le moins d'espoir peuvent devenir les plus importantes de notre chemin.

Dans la poursuite d'un rêve, il arrive que l'on atteigne des paliers, où l'on a l'impression de stagner. Cette période de quasi-inutilité peut être frustrante et décourageante. Les attentes sont faibles et l'énergie est épuisée. C'est le moment de se décider à continuer, quel que soit le rythme. Nombreux sont ceux qui ont raté des opportunités importantes dans des moments comme celui-ci. Aucune étape du parcours n'est plus importante qu'une autre. Le parcours est fait de différentes saisons et si vous comprenez que chaque saison est importante pour le résultat final, il vous sera plus facile de réaliser cette vision qui vous passionne tant.
