CLARITY AND PASSION WILL KEEP YOU GOING. - LA CLARTÉ ET LA PASSION VOUS PERMETTRONT DE CONTINUER.

When we discover our purpose, we are usually very energetic and passionate. We talk about it to whoever is willing to listen. We think about it always and we look for ways to make things happen. This state of euphoria normally lasts until reality hits with its obstacles. Many people still keep going and find ways to overcome whatever is standing against them at the beginning but they can become weary along the way. So long as we keep moving, we will find the energy to stay the course. Even when there are days and seasons that can make us feel that we are wasting our time, when nothing seems to be working. These are not days that can be avoided as far as we are on this earth. They make up the process and we must walk through them. 

We have to understand that it is impossible to have the same energy levels and the same levels of enthusiasm everyday or every season. We are naturally more energetic and enthusiastic at times and it shows in the level of passion with which we approach our work. Thinking that we can keep up with that form always is unrealistic, life usually does not play like that. They way we respond to these different days or seasons is important. That is what actually determines how far and how well we can go. We have to decide to keep going no matter what. The speed and enthusiasm will definitely not be the same but the journey must continue. If we allow those "off" days to get the better of us, we might not only lose momentum, we might lose valuable time or even quit. 

The only way to keep moving is to keep your eyes on the goal. That is why it is important to have authenticity and clarity. It is easy to give up on something that did not originate from you. When you are pursuing something because someone is very successful with that vision, it is easy to lose focus and momentum when things start falling apart. It is passion for a vision that holds things together when all is not going as planned. This is what keeps a visionary going. Others may think that a visionary is crazy at such times but it is because they are not seeing what they are seeing. Confidence and resilience come from knowing that the process can be unpredictable. It is delusional to believe that you can outplan uncertainties and unexpected events. When passion is strong and focus is unbroken, it is possible to keep going even when energy and enthusiasm are low.

Lorsque nous découvrons notre raison d'être, nous débordons généralement d'énergie et de passion. Nous en parlons à qui veut bien nous écouter. Nous y pensons constamment et cherchons des moyens de concrétiser nos projets. Cet état d'euphorie dure généralement jusqu'à ce que la réalité nous rattrape avec ses obstacles. Nombreux sont ceux qui persévèrent et trouvent des solutions pour surmonter les difficultés initiales, mais la lassitude peut s'installer en cours de route. Tant que nous avançons, nous trouverons l'énergie nécessaire pour persévérer. Même lors des périodes où nous avons l'impression de perdre notre temps, où rien ne semble fonctionner. Ces moments sont inévitables, tant que nous sommes sur cette terre. Ils font partie intégrante du processus et nous devons les traverser.

Il est essentiel de comprendre qu'il est impossible de maintenir le même niveau d'énergie et d'enthousiasme chaque jour ou à chaque saison. Nous sommes naturellement plus énergiques et enthousiastes à certains moments, et cela se reflète dans la passion que nous mettons dans notre travail. Penser pouvoir toujours maintenir ce niveau est illusoire : la vie est rarement ainsi. Notre façon de réagir face aux aléas de la vie est cruciale. C'est elle qui détermine notre réussite et notre potentiel. Nous devons persévérer coûte que coûte. Notre rythme et notre enthousiasme fluctueront, certes, mais le chemin doit continuer. Si nous laissons les mauvais jours nous abattre, nous risquons non seulement de perdre notre élan, mais aussi un temps précieux, voire d'abandonner.

Le seul moyen de continuer à avancer est de garder le cap sur son objectif. C'est pourquoi l'authenticité et la clarté sont essentielles. Il est facile d'abandonner un projet qui ne vient pas de nous. Lorsque l'on poursuit un objectif parce que quelqu'un d'autre a réussi, il est facile de perdre le fil et de se décourager face aux difficultés. C'est la passion pour une vision qui permet de tenir le coup quand tout ne se déroule pas comme prévu. C'est ce qui anime un visionnaire. D'autres peuvent le prendre pour un fou, simplement parce qu'ils ne partagent pas sa vision. La confiance et la résilience naissent de la conscience de l'imprévisibilité du processus. Il est illusoire de croire qu'on peut tout prévoir, même les imprévus. Quand la passion est forte et la concentration sans faille, il est possible de persévérer même en cas de baisse d'énergie et d'enthousiasme.

DREAMS CAN BECOME REALITIES. - LES RÊVES PEUVENT DEVENIR RÉALITÉS.

The human being is blessed with an incredible ability to imagine. And we are very good at using our imagination. Some for productive purposes, some for destructive purposes while others are just lazy in their imagination. Although everybody has this ability, only some translate what is in their imagination into reality. A large percentage just go from one scenario to another without the intention or the ability to execute any of the ideas that they have. Many see only excuses why they cannot pursue the execution of their idea(s). These people are constantly daydreaming and enjoying their alternate life. 

Daydreaming is quite popular in developing societies because what many desire cannot be achieved in the conditions in which they live. This is not also uncommon even in the so-called developed societies. Human beings have the ability to dream far beyond their reality. It is a human phenomenon. This, amazingly, is the place from where inventions that change the world are born. There are people have envisioned ideas to the point that they did all that was within their power to give life to them and make them realities. The power of passion if allowed to produce, will birth the kind of courage, resilience and confidence that we can never imagine. It can cause long standing barriers to be overcome and what seemed impossible to become possible. You just need to wake up from that dream, stand up and do something about it. 

Those who are successful know that if they do not wake up and do something about their dream, it will remain just a dream. Some people are always telling you about some lofty idea that they are have but never lift a finger to do something about it. After a while, they come up with a long list of excuses why they cannot accomplish something tangible. They have spent so much time dreaming that their mental muscles have atrophied. They have reached a point where all they can do is talk themselves out of any action. Those who are successful at accomplishing anything significant are those who take action even when they do not yet see the whole journey. 

The ability to take shaky steps until you begin to have inroads into the arena of execution is what determines the amount of success that you can achieve. High achievers continue to put one foot in front of the other until they can consolidate and take the opportunities that life provides them to succeed. Until you move, you will not be able to see the possibilities that are available. When you press forward, obstacles become stepping stones. Many successful people have achieved beyond their expectations. Only those who are confident enough to step out can eventually get to their dream destination.

L'être humain est doté d'une incroyable capacité d'imagination. Et nous sommes très doués pour l'utiliser. Certains à des fins productives, d'autres à des fins destructives, tandis que d'autres encore se contentent de laisser libre cours à leur imagination. Bien que chacun possède cette capacité, seuls quelques-uns parviennent à concrétiser leurs idées. Un grand nombre passe d'un scénario à l'autre sans intention ni capacité de mettre en œuvre leurs idées. Beaucoup ne voient que des excuses pour justifier leur inaction. Ces personnes passent leur temps à rêvasser et à se complaire dans une vie parallèle.

Rêvasser est très répandu dans les sociétés en développement, car beaucoup désirent des choses inaccessibles dans leurs conditions de vie. Ce phénomène n'est pas rare non plus dans les sociétés dites développées. L'être humain a la capacité de rêver bien au-delà de sa réalité. C'est un phénomène propre à l'humanité. Et c'est étonnamment de là que naissent les inventions qui changent le monde. Certaines personnes ont tellement nourri leurs idées qu'elles ont tout mis en œuvre pour leur donner vie et les réaliser. La passion, si on la laisse s'exprimer, engendre un courage, une résilience et une confiance insoupçonnés. Elle permet de surmonter des obstacles tenaces et de rendre possible ce qui semblait impossible. Il suffit de se réveiller de son rêve, de se lever et d'agir.

Ceux qui réussissent savent que s'ils ne se réveillent pas et ne concrétisent pas leurs rêves, ils resteront de simples rêves. Certains parlent sans cesse de leurs idées ambitieuses, mais ne lèvent jamais le petit doigt pour les réaliser. Au bout d'un moment, ils trouvent une multitude d'excuses pour justifier leur incapacité à accomplir quoi que ce soit de concret. Ils ont passé tellement de temps à rêver que leur mental s'est atrophié. Ils en sont arrivés à un point où ils ne savent plus que se dissuader d'agir. Ceux qui réussissent à accomplir de grandes choses sont ceux qui agissent même sans avoir une vision d'ensemble du chemin à parcourir.

La capacité à avancer à petits pas, même hésitants, jusqu'à ce que l'on commence à progresser dans l'action, est ce qui détermine le succès que l'on peut atteindre. Les personnes ambitieuses continuent d'avancer pas à pas jusqu'à consolider leurs acquis et saisir les opportunités que la vie leur offre pour réussir. Tant que vous n'avancez pas, vous ne pourrez pas entrevoir les possibilités qui s'offrent à vous. En persévérant, les obstacles se transforment en tremplins. Nombreux sont ceux qui ont dépassé leurs espérances. Seuls ceux qui ont suffisamment confiance en eux pour se lancer peuvent atteindre leurs rêves.

DON'T GET LOST IN ALL THE NOISE. - NE VOUS LAISSEZ PAS PERDRE DANS TOUT CE BRUIT.

The noise is now deafening. Everyone is talking at the same time. Almost everyone wants their voice to be heard. So people will try to talk as loud as they can in order to drown out other voices. What we have are loud voices that may not be necessarily saying important things. It is alright to make your voice heard in the noise but it does not necessarily mean that you should shout when you are talking to those in your circle of influence who need to hear you the most. Most of the people you are trying to reach might not be those that you need to hear you. You do not need everyone to hear you, you have to be intentional enough to identify your target audience and look for reasonable ways to reach them without fighting through all the noise. 

One of the ways that people are focusing on getting people to hear them is through the way that they introduce themselves. That has become something ridiculous which is now being expressed in the love for titles and more complicated forms of appellation. This has been taken to another level altogether in our present world. At times, I just amuse myself by looking at titles on LinkedIn. There are no titles you will not see. I begin to imagine how all these people came about these attached appellations. It seems that everyone wants to distinguish themselves in a world where so much is going on at the same time. But I believe that, at times, simple is best. I think if we keep it as simple as we can, when people meet us, they will be more impressed when they see us unfold. Trying to understand your appellation might throw some people who are important to your vision off. My advice, in all honesty, is keep it simple. 

The best way to keep it simple is to be yourself, be as authentic as you can. Many people no longer think that being yourself is enough so they try to add something spectacular even if it makes them look stupid. They put so many layers on themselves that it is tiring to have any form of meaningful conversation or interaction with them. Many people leave such people disappointed because what they advertised is vastly different from reality. It is better to keep it simple and allow other people to add the layers. In all the noise going on, most serious people are actually looking for people who they can relate with without having to strain to hear what is really important. In the midst of all the noise, the hustle and bustle, people who really want something tangible will be able to pick the right quality of interaction that they need. Always try to keep the main thing the main thing.

Le bruit est assourdissant. Tout le monde parle en même temps. Presque tout le monde veut se faire entendre. Alors, on essaie de parler aussi fort que possible pour couvrir les autres voix. Résultat : des voix fortes qui ne disent pas forcément des choses importantes. Se faire entendre dans ce brouhaha, c’est bien, mais cela ne signifie pas pour autant qu’il faille crier lorsqu’on s’adresse à ceux qui, dans notre entourage, ont le plus besoin de nous entendre. La plupart des personnes que vous essayez de joindre ne sont peut-être pas celles que vous avez le plus besoin de voir. Vous n’avez pas besoin que tout le monde vous entende ; il faut simplement identifier votre public cible et trouver des moyens efficaces de le joindre sans avoir à lutter contre ce brouhaha.

L’une des stratégies employées pour se faire entendre consiste à soigner sa présentation. C’est devenu ridicule, et cela se traduit aujourd’hui par une véritable obsession des titres et des appellations toujours plus compliquées. On a atteint des sommets dans notre monde actuel. Parfois, je m’amuse simplement à regarder les titres sur LinkedIn. Il n’y a pas un titre qui n’existe pas. Je commence à me demander comment toutes ces personnes ont acquis ces surnoms. Il semble que chacun veuille se distinguer dans un monde où tout va si vite. Mais je crois que, parfois, la simplicité est la meilleure solution. Je pense que si nous restons aussi simples que possible, les gens seront plus impressionnés lorsqu'ils nous rencontreront et nous verront tels que nous sommes. Chercher à comprendre son surnom peut déconcerter certaines personnes importantes pour notre vision. Mon conseil, en toute honnêteté, est de faire simple.

Le meilleur moyen de rester simple est d'être soi-même, d'être aussi authentique que possible. Beaucoup de gens pensent que l'authenticité ne suffit plus et essaient d'en rajouter, même si cela les rend ridicules. Ils se surforment tellement qu'il devient épuisant d'avoir une conversation ou un échange constructif avec eux. Nombreux sont ceux qui déçoivent ces personnes, car leur image est très éloignée de la réalité. Il vaut mieux rester simple et laisser les autres enrichir sa personnalité. Dans tout ce brouhaha ambiant, la plupart des personnes sérieuses recherchent avant tout des interlocuteurs avec lesquels elles peuvent nouer des liens, sans avoir à se forcer pour entendre ce qui compte vraiment. Au milieu de ce tumulte, de cette agitation, ceux qui aspirent à quelque chose de concret sauront choisir la qualité d'interaction qui leur convient. Gardez toujours l'essentiel à l'esprit.
