IT MIGHT BE SMALL BUT NOT INSIGNIFICANT. - C'EST PEUT-ÊTRE PETIT, MAIS PAS INSIGNIFICANTE.

What the world is looking for the most, I believe, is the individual talent that can be a part of the puzzle in human development. These are the categories of people who bring value to the table and make life more interesting to live as they link up with like minds. Every piece of the puzzle is important which is why we have to be attentive to what we can do to add our bit to the development of our communities. There is no puzzle that can be complete without even the smallest piece. When it comes to development, just like in putting together a puzzle, no piece is insignificant. We have situations of insufficiency all around us. 

This is lost to many and they live without paying attention to what their contributions could be by being more mindful of the resources around them. When we are not aware in an intentional way of what is available around us, we miss huge opportunities of exploring and exploiting the resources that are available in our immediate environment. Unfortunately, we cannot use them to respond to the needs of the community in our own unique ways. In life, every piece of the puzzle is carefully designed to be a part of the whole and if one is missing, it creates a vacuum that will distort the image and allow for unnecessary interference. Many communities have had their culture and learning processes tampered with and altered permanently due to members not taking their responsibilities seriously. Ironically, these are the people that complain the most and look for ways of escaping to other communities that have better systems and results. 

This is not to say our gifts are meant to serve only our communities. However, most times when we miss our chances of adding value around us, we end up living in situations that require our services for something other than we would have done to add value where it is most needed. The importance of creating a culture is not recognized if we do not appreciate life around us because creating a sustainable culture of innovation and development takes a lot of time and effort. It takes those who have passion for sustainable development to make this kind of contribution. They are the ones who are ready to make the sacrifice that it takes to initiate and follow through with the process until results that benefit everyone are achieved. The contributions of one piece of the puzzle helps by making it possible for the next piece to find its place. Interdependence is what is required that the game of life be played in tandem. Life is a big puzzle and each of us has been created to be a part of it. This is also the reason for the codependence that the world requires for growth and development.

Ce que le monde recherche le plus, je crois, c'est le talent individuel capable de contribuer au développement humain. Il s'agit de personnes qui apportent une réelle valeur ajoutée et enrichissent la vie en se connectant avec des personnes partageant les mêmes idées. Chaque pièce du puzzle est importante, c'est pourquoi nous devons être attentifs à notre contribution au développement de nos communautés. Aucun puzzle n'est complet sans la moindre pièce. En matière de développement, comme pour un puzzle, aucune pièce n'est insignifiante. Nous sommes confrontés à des situations de pénurie tout autour de nous.

Nombreux sont ceux qui l'ignorent et vivent sans se soucier de leur contribution potentielle, en étant plus attentifs aux ressources qui les entourent. Lorsque nous ne sommes pas conscients de ce qui est disponible autour de nous, nous passons à côté d'immenses opportunités d'explorer et d'exploiter les ressources de notre environnement immédiat. Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas les utiliser pour répondre aux besoins de la communauté de manière originale. Dans la vie, chaque pièce du puzzle est soigneusement conçue pour faire partie de l'ensemble. Si l'une d'elles manque, cela crée un vide qui déforme l'image et permet des interférences inutiles. De nombreuses communautés ont vu leur culture et leurs processus d'apprentissage altérés et modifiés de façon permanente parce que leurs membres ne prenaient pas leurs responsabilités au sérieux.

Paradoxalement, ce sont souvent ces mêmes personnes qui se plaignent le plus et cherchent à fuir vers d'autres communautés dotées de meilleurs systèmes et de meilleurs résultats.

Cela ne signifie pas que nos talents doivent servir uniquement nos communautés. Cependant, bien souvent, lorsque nous manquons l'occasion d'apporter notre contribution, nous nous retrouvons dans des situations où nos services sont requis pour autre chose que ce que nous aurions fait pour apporter une valeur ajoutée là où elle est le plus nécessaire. L'importance de créer une culture n'est pas reconnue si nous n'apprécions pas la vie qui nous entoure, car créer une culture durable d'innovation et de développement demande beaucoup de temps et d'efforts. Seuls ceux qui sont passionnés par le développement durable peuvent apporter ce type de contribution. Ce sont eux qui sont prêts à faire les sacrifices nécessaires pour initier et mener à bien le processus jusqu'à l'obtention de résultats bénéfiques pour tous. La contribution de chaque élément permet à l'autre de trouver sa place. L'interdépendance est essentielle pour que le jeu de la vie se déroule harmonieusement. La vie est un grand puzzle et chacun de nous a été créé pour y prendre part. C'est aussi la raison de la codépendance

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE NEW TO BE INNOVATIVE. - L'INNOVATION N'EST PAS OBLIGATOIRE À ÊTRE NOUVEAU.

Smart people are likely not the most intelligent but they have their ways. This is something we must understand in order to develop the courage to put ourselves out there. Just because it is different does not guarantee that it will be the needed solution, but if you do not put it out there, you will never know. Some call it thinking outside the box but that does not really capture what I am talking about here. It might not be a farfetched idea, but just one coming from a place where something already on the table is presented in a different light. It might be a different angle that comes from a fresh way of looking at what we are used to in such a way that it brings about a pivotal moment. When people see a solution that has all along been hidden in plain sight, it evokes curiosity and excitement. 

Every idea does not have to be a ‘fantastic’ idea, it just has to be an idea that helps people to see something available they have not previously considered. It will be interesting and challenging if we can form the habit of always trying to come from an unexpected angle. The amazing thing about coming from such a position is that not too many people will be waiting for you there. Since many will be looking for something out of this world while it is sitting right there in front of them, this new discovery will give an edge to creating a difference in perception. People have to develop the ability to see more than the obvious which is the way a lot of people think that they are wired. For anyone to be able to shift their paradigm, they need to have an open mind that permits them to see wisdom in something that might look foolish to others. This is a position of courage as people hate to be rejected, but if you do not venture, a smart idea might die prematurely in your hands. When you learn to come from an angle that will not be popular with most people and you hit the nail in the head, you get things done in a way that captures attention. It would be seen as a smart move and people are drawn towards smart.

 Those who want to stay ahead in the game, need to come from an angle that throws new light on a situation in a way that makes it understandable and accessible. In order to do this, you have to stretch your assignment beyond what is normally expected and sometimes you would hit home runs to make up for other past and painful rejections. It is important to keep at it until you are trusted with what others are denied. The uses to which resources are put in an environment are never exhaustive, there is always a new way of presenting something old. Consequently, if this kind of culture is embedded in the hearts of people in a community, it will continuously encourage them to explore and come up with innovative ideas. In the event that their contributions are recognised, appreciated and rewarded where necessary, there will never be a lack of pioneering ideas and contributions in that kind of environment. What the world is looking for the most, I believe, is the individual talent that can be a part of the puzzle in human development.  Les personnes intelligentes ne sont pas forcément les plus brillantes, mais elles ont leurs méthodes. C'est un point essentiel à comprendre pour oser se lancer. Ce n'est pas parce qu'une idée est différente qu'elle sera forcément la solution idéale, mais si on ne la propose pas, on ne le saura jamais. Certains parlent de « penser hors des sentiers battus », mais cette expression ne rend pas vraiment compte de ce dont je parle. Il ne s'agit pas forcément d'une idée farfelue, mais simplement d'une approche qui consiste à présenter une solution existante sous un angle différent. Il peut s'agir d'une perspective nouvelle, d'un regard neuf sur ce à quoi nous sommes habitués, susceptible de provoquer un tournant décisif. Lorsqu'une solution, pourtant évidente, apparaît, cela suscite curiosité et enthousiasme.

Chaque idée n'a pas besoin d'être « fantastique », il suffit qu'elle permette de découvrir une possibilité insoupçonnée. Prendre l'habitude d'aborder les choses sous un angle inattendu sera un défi stimulant et enrichissant. Ce qui est formidable avec une telle approche, c'est que peu de gens vous y attendront. Nombreux sont ceux qui chercheront l'extraordinaire alors que la solution est sous leurs yeux. Cette découverte vous permettra de changer les perceptions. Il est essentiel de développer sa capacité à voir au-delà des apparences, une capacité que beaucoup considèrent comme innée. Pour changer de paradigme, il faut un esprit ouvert, capable de percevoir la sagesse dans ce qui peut paraître absurde aux yeux des autres. C'est une attitude courageuse, car personne n'aime être rejeté. Mais si vous n'osez pas, une idée brillante risque de mourir prématurément. Apprendre à aborder les choses sous un angle impopulaire et viser juste permet d'obtenir des résultats qui captent l'attention. Ce sera perçu comme une initiative brillante, et l'intelligence attire naturellement.

Ceux qui veulent garder une longueur d'avance doivent aborder les situations sous un angle nouveau, les éclairant d'un jour nouveau et les rendant compréhensibles et accessibles. Pour ce faire, il faut dépasser les attentes habituelles et parfois, remporter des succès retentissants pour compenser des refus passés et douloureux. Il est important de persévérer jusqu'à obtenir la confiance nécessaire pour accéder à des opportunités refusées à d'autres. Les possibilités d'utilisation des ressources sont infinies ; il existe toujours une nouvelle façon de présenter les choses. Par conséquent, si ce type de culture s'enracine dans le cœur des membres d'une communauté, elle les encouragera constamment à explorer et à proposer des idées novatrices. Si leurs contributions sont reconnues, appréciées et récompensées lorsque cela est nécessaire, les idées et les contributions pionnières ne manqueront jamais dans un tel environnement. Ce que le monde recherche le plus, je crois, ce sont les talents individuels capables de contribuer au développement humain. Ce sont ces personnes qui apportent une réelle valeur ajoutée et rendent la vie plus intéressante en se connectant avec des personnes partageant les mêmes idées. Chaque pièce du puzzle est importante, c'est pourquoi nous devons être attentifs à la manière dont nous pouvons contribuer au développement de nos communautés. WE ALL HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY. - NOUS AVONS TOUS UNE RESPONSABILITÉ.

When an idea comes to life in a community and people see the quality of its effects, it becomes necessary to keep it alive and constantly work on it. We have to push knowledge by introducing a system of transmitting that knowledge especially if it is something that can easily be replicated in that community. Creating a culture is simply generating an avenue that helps others to see what is beneficial to them in their community. In addition to that, a structure put in place that makes it accessible to as many as will show interest in taking part in its development. Consequently, it then forms a part of the lifestyle of the people. 

In most cases, that in turn encourages others to carry out their own research so that they too can become a part of the growth of that community. What discourages people most of the time is the fact that those who are too lazy to undertake the process and they collaborate with other communities to undermine the efforts of those who are pursuing this kind of value addition. Such people disregard resources found around them and collaborate with other communities to flood their very own communities with alternatives gotten from those other regions. This kind of unwholesome behaviour can deter those who are not as passionately committed or bold enough from going ahead with their plans for the community and its resources. Culture defines a people and what is the dominant culture determines how the community will evolve and grow. In societies where the general culture is that of consumption, it would be difficult to experience economic growth and this will gravely affect the overall development of the community. When a people are used to consuming and little effort is put into production, it means that they do not give attention to the resources that they have that could help them become a self-sufficient society. 

This culture of dependence makes it rather difficult for them to take the pain of researching ways of providing for their immediate needs without little or no outside help. Their purchasing power is grossly diminished and they see themselves as less than. Therefore, they are forced to accept whatever other communities present to them to help them survive as a community. This is quite an unfortunate situation because every environment has something to contribute as an exchange with others to provide a robust living environment for its people. A strong home-grown culture is imperative to the growth of any community. Work ethics and general mental strength are things that need to be cultivated for the growth and development of any society and this usually comes from a culture of responsibility and accountability. A community that knows that it is its responsibility to improve the lives of its people would develop a culture in that environment that encourages people to see whatever they have around as resources for which they should be responsible and accountable. Consequent upon this, their investment or abuse of these resources will be taken with utmost sense of obligation as custodians.

Lorsqu'une idée prend vie au sein d'une communauté et que ses effets positifs se font sentir, il devient essentiel de la pérenniser et de la développer constamment. Il est important de diffuser les connaissances en mettant en place un système de transmission, notamment si elles sont facilement reproductibles au sein de cette communauté. Créer une culture, c'est simplement ouvrir la voie à ce qui est bénéfique pour chacun dans sa propre communauté. De plus, il est nécessaire de mettre en place une structure qui la rend accessible à tous ceux qui souhaitent participer à son développement. Ainsi, elle s'intègre au mode de vie des habitants.

Dans la plupart des cas, cela encourage d'autres personnes à mener leurs propres recherches afin de contribuer elles aussi à la croissance de cette communauté. Ce qui décourage souvent les gens, c'est que certains, trop paresseux pour s'investir dans le processus, collaborent avec d'autres communautés pour saper les efforts de ceux qui s'engagent dans cette démarche de valorisation. Ces personnes négligent les ressources locales et collaborent avec d'autres communautés pour inonder les leurs d'alternatives provenant d'ailleurs. Ce type de comportement malsain peut dissuader ceux qui ne sont pas aussi passionnément engagés ou suffisamment audacieux de poursuivre leurs projets pour la communauté et ses ressources. La culture définit un peuple et la culture dominante détermine l'évolution et la croissance de la communauté. Dans les sociétés où la culture générale est celle de la consommation, la croissance économique est difficile à atteindre, ce qui affecte gravement le développement global de la communauté. Lorsqu'un peuple est habitué à consommer et que peu d'efforts sont consacrés à la production, cela signifie qu'il ne prête pas attention aux ressources dont il dispose et qui pourraient lui permettre de devenir une société autosuffisante.

Cette culture de dépendance les empêche de se donner la peine de rechercher des moyens de subvenir à leurs besoins immédiats sans aide extérieure. Leur pouvoir d'achat est fortement réduit et ils se sentent diminués. Par conséquent, ils sont contraints d'accepter ce que d'autres communautés leur offrent pour assurer leur survie. C'est une situation regrettable, car chaque environnement a quelque chose à apporter, par le biais d'échanges, pour offrir un cadre de vie décent à ses habitants. Une culture locale forte est essentielle à la croissance de toute communauté. L'éthique du travail et la force mentale sont des qualités qu'il faut cultiver pour le développement de toute société, et cela découle généralement d'une culture de responsabilité. Une communauté consciente de sa responsabilité d'améliorer la vie de ses membres développera une culture qui encourage chacun à considérer son environnement comme une ressource dont il doit être responsable. Par conséquent, leur utilisation, bonne ou mauvaise, de ces ressources sera perçue avec le plus grand sens des obligations, en tant que gardiens.
