AFRICA IS A CONTINENT ON THE MOVE AND HER YOUTHS ARE HER GREATEST RESOURCE."We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can always build our youth for the future."Franklin D. Roosevelt. MentorAfrica looks to help youths, through various life transition mentoring topics, to prepare youths for development and leadership that will help them change the African narrative whenever the opportunity arises.

LIFE= LITTLE SUCCESSES AND LITTLE TROPHIES - LA VIE = PETIT SUCCÈS ET PETIT TROPHEES

My harvest are trophies for me. Trophies have become a measure of success in almost every society these days. Happiness is presently derived from the parameters of success promoted by society and heavily backed by media. We are constantly bombarded by people who have won trophies in various aspects of life, flashing them on traditional and social media making many unhappy because they do not measure up to these achievements. We forget to celebrate the "little" achievements that come our way in our everyday activities and as a result of this many people suffer unhappiness and even depression. You do not have to measure your success by what others have achieved, look at success from the point of any improvement you make every day. The steps you take might not be massive and broadcast by any media but they are steps that you have made to improve your life, be proud of these and celebrate your life. You are your best cheerleader, continue to cheer yourself on until others recognise your success and join in; that is how these things work. Enjoy your weekend!
