THE STRENGTH OF THE GOALPOST - LA FORCE DU POTEAU DU BUT

I am not crazy about football but I am surrounded by those who are. I know that no matter which side plays better, the winner is decided by the number of goals scored. It is therefore safe to say that the whole aim of each team is to get past the opponent's goalkeeper. All the strategies and training are geared towards finding the back of the net as many times as possible. When we have goals to meet in life, our lives become more purposeful. If you meet anyone who is consistent and committed to a dream in life, it is not difficult to know because of the discipline that is evident in their lives. When there is no purpose, no goals to meet, there can't be passion. People who go with the flow, they lack luster. When there is a goal, there is a reason to wake up and get going even when you do not feel like. You do not push people with a goal. The only people who respond to motivation are those who have a goal, until they find the back of the net, they will not rest. When there are no goalposts, footballers would just enjoy dribbling, running around with the ball and the company of their colleagues. There are no goals and no trophies for such games. In life it is the same, you either have goals that propel you to give life your all and succeed or you are just running around in life without any evidence that you are alive. It is sad to be around people who are not aiming at anything because they deprive humanity of their needed contributions. Are you aiming at anything that will bring progress to human existence or you are just moving the ball and running around the field of life? Life only makes room for those who are purposefully trying to get the ball past the opponents and the goalkeeper. Have a beautiful day!

Je ne suis pas fou de football mais je suis entouré de ceux qui le sont. Je sais que peu importe le côté qui joue le mieux, le gagnant est déterminé par le nombre de buts marqués. Il est donc prudent de dire que le but de chaque équipe est de dépasser le gardien adverse. Toutes les stratégies et formations visent à trouver le fond du filet le plus de fois possible. Lorsque nous avons des objectifs à atteindre dans la vie, nos vies deviennent plus utiles. Si vous rencontrez quelqu'un qui est cohérent et engagé à un rêve dans la vie, il n'est pas difficile de le savoir en raison de la discipline qui est évidente dans leur vie. Quand il n'y a pas de but, pas d'objectifs à atteindre, il ne peut y avoir de passion. Les gens qui vont avec le flux, ils manquent de lustre. Quand il y a un but, il y a une raison de se réveiller et d'y aller même quand on n'a pas envie de le faire. Vous ne poussez pas les gens avec un but. Les seules personnes qui répondent à la motivation sont celles qui ont un but, jusqu'à ce qu'elles trouvent le fond du filet, elles ne se reposeront pas. Quand il n'y a pas de poteau de but, les footballeurs s'amusent à dribbler, à courir avec le ballon et la compagnie de leurs collègues. Il n'y a pas de buts et pas de trophées pour de tels jeux. Dans la vie, c'est la même chose, soit vous avez des objectifs qui vous poussent à tout donner à la vie et à réussir, soit vous courez dans la vie sans aucune preuve que vous êtes vivant. C'est triste d'être avec des gens qui ne visent rien parce qu'ils privent l'humanité de leurs contributions nécessaires. Visez-vous quelque chose qui apportera des progrès à l'existence humaine ou vous êtes juste en train de déplacer la balle et courir autour du champ de la vie? La vie fait seulement de la place pour ceux qui tentent délibérément de faire passer le ballon devant les adversaires et le gardien de but. Passe une bonne journée!

INDISPENSABLE BUT IRREPLACEABLE - INDISPENSABLE MAIS IRREMPLAÇABLE

We know that nobody is indispensable but there are people who are irreplaceable. People can have the same set of skills and training but they will handle life differently because of their personality traits and approach to life. Having the right people with you as you pursue your dream is vital to success. If we do not handle the people who give us their best properly, we will loose them and realise that although people are indispensable, there are some who are irreplaceable. There are people we need to make up our mind to "tolerate" in order to accomplish our vision with excellence. It does not mean that you accommodate those that are arrogant or those who have a sour attitude that poison everything around them just because they are competent and we want to succeed. However, we should not look at people like a product of mass production that we can replace anytime we feel like because of a minor misunderstanding or envy. The decision to let some people that could draw us back, make us lose time and we might never find another to give us the kind of dedication, passion and commitment that is required for us to accomplish our vision. There are times we need to stoop to conquer, not everyone can be replaced. Enjoy your day!

Nous savons que personne n'est indispensable mais il y a des gens qui sont irremplaçables. Les gens peuvent avoir le même ensemble de compétences et de formation, mais ils vont gérer la vie différemment en raison de leurs traits de personnalité et leur approche de la vie. Avoir les bonnes personnes avec vous pendant que vous poursuivez votre rêve est essentiel à la réussite. Si nous ne traitons pas correctement les gens qui nous donnent leur meilleur, nous les perdrons et nous réaliserons que même si les gens sont indispensables, certains sont irremplaçables. Il y a des gens dont nous devons nous décider à «tolérer» afin d'accomplir notre vision avec excellence. Cela ne signifie pas que vous vous adaptez à ceux qui sont arrogants ou à ceux qui ont une attitude aigre qui empoisonne tout ce qui les entoure simplement parce qu'ils sont compétents et que nous voulons réussir. Cependant, nous ne devrions pas regarder les gens comme un produit de la production de masse que nous pouvons remplacer chaque fois que nous voulons à cause d'un malentendu mineur ou de l'envie. La décision de laisser partir certains gens pourraient nous faire reculer, nous faire perdre du temps et nous pourrions ne jamais en trouver un autre pour nous donner le genre de dévouement, de passion et d'engagement qui nous est nécessaire pour accomplir notre vision. Il y a des moments où nous devons nous baisser pour vaincre, tout le monde ne peut pas être remplacé. Bonne journée!

TURNAROUND TIME - DELAI D'EXECUTION

I have a lime tree close to my house and I have been quite disappointed because it has grown so big but refused to produce any fruits all this while. I have been threatening to uproot it for some time but I decided to read up on the lime plant. I discovered that it took a minimum of three years to fruit and it bears fruits twice a year. I decided to hold on and give it one more chance and a few days ago, this being one of the fruiting periods, I harvested the first fruit. Now I can see some other fruits. It has redeemed itself! Many times we plan our lives without putting into consideration the turnaround time. We want immediate results to show that we are succeeding. This is mostly because we think life is a competition and we want to prove that we are better than others. As a result, we constantly change our "vision" because we cannot bear the "frustration" of the turnaround time. We would do anything to hasten the results so that we can be applauded. Life has taught me that nothing of value can be hurried. You are either ready to pay the high price of getting it right and having a lasting impact on generations or you look for shortcuts and also have fleeting impact. The level of your impact depends on the level of sacrifice you are ready to make. No matter the anger or the threats, the lime fruits can only come out when the process of their production is complete. If I had cut the tree, it would only have been reported that a lime tree once existed there, but now the fruits will be enjoyed for years to come. The way you handle the turnaround time when you allow your vision to be tried and tested before it is revealed, determines the degree of influence that you will have. No kind of true success will come out of something that is self-centered. Do have a great day!

J'ai un tilleul près de chez moi et j'ai été assez déçu parce qu'il a grandi tellement mais a refusé de produire des fruits tout ce temps. J'ai menacé de le déraciner pendant un certain temps mais j'ai décidé de faire une étude sur le citron vert. J'ai découvert qu'il fallait au moins trois ans pour fructifier et que cela porte des fruits deux fois par an. J'ai décidé de tenir le coup et de lui donner une chance de plus et il y a quelques jours, étant l'une des périodes de fructification, j'ai récolté le premier fruit. Maintenant, je peux voir d'autres fruits. Il s'est racheté! Souvent, nous planifions nos vies sans tenir compte du délai d'exécution. Nous voulons que les résultats immédiats montrent que nous réussissons. C'est surtout parce que nous pensons que la vie est une compétition et que nous voulons prouver que nous sommes meilleurs que les autres. En conséquence, nous changeons constamment notre «vision» parce que nous ne pouvons pas supporter la «frustration» du temps d'exécution. Nous ferions n'importe quoi pour hâter les résultats afin que nous puissions être applaudis. La vie m'a appris que rien de valeur ne peut être précipité. Vous êtes soit prêt à payer le prix fort pour bien faire les choses et avoir un impact durable sur les générations, soit vous cherchez des raccourcis avec aussi un impact éphémère. Le niveau de votre impact dépend du niveau de sacrifice que vous êtes prêt à faire. Peu importe la colère ou les menaces, les fruits du tilleul ne peuvent sortir que lorsque le processus de leur production est terminé. Si j'avais coupé l'arbre, il aurait seulement été rapporté qu'un tilleul existait autrefois, mais maintenant les fruits seront appréciés pour les années à venir. La façon dont vous gérez le délai d'exécution lorsque vous permettez à votre vision d'être testée et éprouvée avant qu'elle ne soit révélée, détermine le degré d'influence que vous aurez. Aucune sorte de vrai succès ne sortira de quelque chose qui est centré sur soi-même. Bonne journée!
