Criticisms are a hot topic. If you want to have traction on social media, criticise something or someone and you will have many who want to add their voices to yours. What we must understand is that the noise is always louder on the stands than on the field of play. Everybody has an opinion on how something should be done. Unfortunately, those whose voices are loudest have never really attempted anything themselves. When you are thinking of how to improve a situation, your voice is low because what you are actually doing is thinking aloud on how you can be a solution. Those who many are applauding as geniuses today where considered as stupid when they began their journey. The few that heard them thinking aloud felt they were insane at that point, now they are a subject of discussions and a point of reference. No one starts big, big things started as small things and grew. Someone took a camera as an amateur and became a world acclaimed a documentary film maker. Someone decided to document their ingredients and dishes and started what we have today as cookbooks and cookery channels. Another decided to journal their daily experiences online and today we have millions of blogs all over the world. The list is endless. They say it is has never been done until someone does it, be that someone. If you are not willing to be considered a fool, you can never become a subject of discussion and a point of reference. When you see a gap fill it, stop looking around for what to criticises always. Enjoy your weekend!
AFRICA IS A CONTINENT ON THE MOVE AND HER YOUTHS ARE HER GREATEST RESOURCE."We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can always build our youth for the future."Franklin D. Roosevelt. MentorAfrica looks to help youths, through various life transition mentoring topics, to prepare youths for development and leadership that will help them change the African narrative whenever the opportunity arises.
