NEEDING HELP IS NOT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS. - DEMANDER DE L'AIDE N'EST PAS UN SIGNE DE FAIBLESSE.

The realisation that whatever we want
to accomplish is not our cross alone to carry but a joint venture, helps us to be honest about our needs. This perspective helps to bring a lot of knowledge and skills together so that we can each face life squarely. It will make it easier for every one of us who is interested in improving the quality of life and the environment to play their role. Once we can overcome the pride of wanting to do it all by ourselves in order for us to receive all the glory, we make room for contributions that will make our work more beneficial and inclusive. Adding value is not the exclusive preserve of anyone. Good intentions can totally be ruined if limitations are not acknowledged and dealt with. There are ways which we can do things and they do not benefit others because of being so self-centered and our efforts go down the drain.

As we go about our plans, one of the most important things will be to take note of areas in which we have weaknesses. With this in mind, we can immediately begin a search for who and what will be needed to feel those gaps so that we are alert and are able to recognise those we can partner with as soon as we come in contact with them. We do not have to wait to get to a point of difficulty before we start our search. If we take note of these limitations early enough, we will be in a position to seize opportunities without allowing them to slip through our hands. This prompt recognition of opportunities will enable us to maximise them. The reason many of us do not immediately recognise help is because we think we will never need
it and that is a great deception because everyone one of us has our areas of limitation. Like we said previously, admitting to limitations is not a weakness, it is a strength because it saves you time and energy and gets you faster to where your pride will never get you.

It takes a courageous person to admit
their limitations and accept help. Help is a part of life and it makes the interwoven nature of human relationships worth the while. It also
makes life more interesting. No matter how gifted an individual is, when it comes to the matter of our collective existence, we need each other. The value chain of development can never undermine the importance of the support of every loop. The one who identifies the need in an environment and spots the resources that can be used to meet that need might just be the initial loop. Other loops are
required to make the chain work, and the community better for everyone. What this means is that help is just something that assists in putting the loops of the value chain together and not something of which we should be ashamed. The community is not a personal project that should be undertaken strictly by a superhero.

Do have a wonderful week!
