Business ideas must be dynamic; there is no business that maintains
only a particular pattern from idea to execution and growth. Allowance must be
made for modifications in order to satisfy the clientele as well as you, the
business owner. Succeeding in business means that you always look at how to get
things done instead of how not to do things. Immediately you suggest something
progressive to some people, they shut it done by telling you why it cannot or
should not be done. We can’t afford to be stereotypical and ignore innovative
suggestions from those who have succeeded in doing some form of business even
if it is not exactly in the product or service we are involved in. Those who
are so conservative or averse to different ways of doing things will short
change themselves. We must be flexible enough to give change a chance in order
to make progress. There are people who have been in business for ten years who
still have the same business card, the same advert clips, the same way of
packaging etc. It is even as bad as displaying items in their shops or offices
in the same position and the same fashion and they say this is how to maintain
a brand. Your branding system has to flow with the times without losing the
original touch and intent. The way goods were displayed ten years ago is not
the same as it is done today so even if yours is a vintage idea, it must have a
modern vehicle to drive it.
