THINK SOLUTION! - PENSEZ LA SOLUTION!

A lot of the discussions I am involved in about Africa by africans reveal that 90% of the contributions are analysis of the problem and what someone other than we the participants should have done or should do to address the situation.

Until you see yourself as a solution, the opportunities to be a solution will never open up to you. The problem is that even if the opportunity presents itself you will miss it because your mind is focused on who to blame. There are always people and circumstances to blame but when your focus is on finding a solution, you will look past these limitations.

The problem we have with leadership today is the fact that a lot of people going into positions of leadership did not have a solution approach to life. You cannot begin to practice how to solve problems just by getting into a position. If you do not always consider yourself as a possible answer to a challenge, you will continue dissecting and conversing around the problem until your opportunity to do something about it even as a leader expires. The African leaders we are all blaming today were, at one point, analysing and discussing the very problems that they are now unable to confront as leaders. Change the way you look at challenges; if you cannot see yourself as part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. Have a good day!

Beaucoup de discussions auxquelles je suis impliqué concernant l'Afrique par les Africains révèlent que 90% des contributions sont l'analyse du problème et ce que quelqu'un d'autre sauf nous, les participants auraient dû faire ou devrait faire pour résoudre la situation.

Jusqu'à ce que vous vous voyez comme une solution, les possibilités d'être une solution ne s'ouvrent jamais à vous. Le problème est que même si l'occasion se présente vous le manquerez parce que votre esprit se focalise sur qui à blâmer. Il ya toujours des gens et des circonstances à blâmer, mais quand vous vous concentrez sur la recherche d'une solution, vous regarderez au-delà de ces limitations.

Le problème que nous avons avec le leadership aujourd'hui, c'est le fait que beaucoup de gens qui occupent des postes de direction n'ont pas une approche de solution à la vie. Vous ne pouvez pas commencer à pratiquer comment résoudre des problèmes en vous vous trouvant dans une position. Si vous ne vous considérez pas toujours comme une réponse possible à un défi, vous continuerez d'examiner et de converser autour du problème jusqu'à ce que votre possibilité de faire quelque chose à ce sujet, même en tant que leader expire. Les dirigeants africains que nous accusons tous aujourd'hui ont, à un moment donné, analysé et discuté les problèmes mêmes qu'ils sont maintenant incapables d'affronter en tant que dirigeants. Changez la façon dont vous regardez les défis; Si vous ne pouvez pas vous voir en tant que partie de la solution, alors vous faites partie du problème. Bonne journée!

BREAKING STEREOTYPES - BRISEZ LES STÉRÉOTYPES

Many of us remain in the same mental spot because we spend too much time thinking about and over analyzing challenges. This means we often run out of time and options to make the choices that create the change that we know will help us change the status quo the we detest. One of the most difficult obstacles many need to overcome in order to make the necessary progress in life are stereotypes. We are boxed in by what we believe and most times without mental emancipation, we continue on an unpleasant path. When confronted by any challenging situation, the first thoughts that come to anyone who is plagued by stereotypes is what and who is to blame and not what they can do to better the situation. For most of us Africans, the fault is always someone else's and the solution is also always someone's, it is never about us. We always look for what to analyse and/or condemn, we hardly ever think about what we can do. No one will throw of the burden from our necks, we have to look for how to do this ourselves. When people do not see themselves as possible solutions, they would antagonize anyone who is bold enough to challenge the stereotypes, that is why Africans will turn against Africans in xenophobic crimes and they will feel justified. When are you going to look at yourself and know that you have the same brain as all other humans? When are you going to blame yourself instead of others for your problems? Every society was once underdeveloped, people rose up against all stereotypes and did what was then considered impossible. Wake up and pull back your blinds; the sun rises with opportunities in its wings for everybody who will let it in. Do not try to change the stereotypes, just do what you know is right, be proactive and productive. Enjoy your weekend!

Beaucoup d'entre nous restent sur le même point mental parce que nous passons trop de temps à réfléchir et à analyser les défis. Cela signifie que nous avons souvent manqué de temps et d'options pour faire les choix qui créent le changement que nous connaissons nous aidera à changer le status quo que nous détestons. L'un des obstacles les plus difficiles à surmonter pour faire le progrès nécessaire dans la vie sont des stéréotypes. Nous sommes enfermés dans ce que nous croyons et la plupart du temps sans émancipation mentale, nous continuons sur un chemin désagréable. En face de toute situation difficile, les premières pensées qui viennent à ceux qui sont tourmentés par des stéréotypes c'est quoi et qui est à blâmer et pas ce qu'ils peuvent faire pour améliorer la situation. Pour la plupart d'entre nous, les Africains, la faute est toujours quelqu'un d'autre et la solution vient aussi toujours quelqu'un d'autre, il ne s'agit jamais de nous. Nous recherchons toujours ce qu'il faut analyser et / ou condamner, nous ne pensons presque jamais à ce que nous pouvons faire. Personne nous ôtera le fardeau de notre dos, nous devons chercher comment le faire nous-mêmes. Quand les gens ne se voient pas comme des solutions possibles, ils opposent n'importe qui qui est assez audacieux pour contester les stéréotypes, c'est pourquoi les africains se battent les uns contre les autres dans les crimes xénophobes et ils se sentiront justifiés. Quand allez-vous vous prendre conscience de et comprendre que vous avez le même cerveau que tous les autres humains? Quand allez-vous vous blâmer plutôt que d'autres pour vos problèmes? Chaque société était autrefois sous-développée, les gens se dressaient contre tous les stéréotypes et faisaient ce qui était alors considéré comme impossible. Réveillez-vous et retirez vos stores; Le soleil se lève avec des possibilités dans ses ailes pour tout le monde qui le laissera entrer. N'essayez pas de changer les stéréotypes, faites simplement ce que vous savez est juste, soyez proactif et productif. Profitez de votre weekend!

Africans need to see beyond the Nollywood and African Home Video productions which replay the lives they already have until mediocre becomes the norm not leaving much room for inventions, creations and beautifications: to do something simply because it is good to be done not just what they can benefit doing it.

African Media can help and they need to do more than step-up to the plate. They need to see themselves as much more than just a news, information, entertainment or social function player. They need to realize that the African Mind is waiting for an inspiration and every negative or demeaning portrayal that they release, will only help to discourage the potential of the greatness of the African people. To the Media members of Africa we say: “Let your Imaginations Fly, Create those innovations that you cannot yet create, Postulate those theories that seem so impossible, Imagine a world where Africa is King and when you are done, send out that information so the African Kings among us may Rise, Rule and Lead us with Grace to a greater tomorrow, Today”- Tanho Attah

Let us stop trying to always contend with or prove the profiling of others wrong and just project our strengths and beauty. If we use the media productively long enough, we will begin to dent the projected profiles. Unless we do this, many will continue to either fit into these profiles or spend our whole lives trying to fight them.

Les Africains ont besoin de voir au-delà des productions Nollywood et African Home Video qui reproduisent les vies qu'ils ont déjà jusqu'à ce que la médiocrité devienne la norme ne laissant pas beaucoup de place aux inventions, aux créations et aux embellissements: il faut faire quelque chose simplement parce qu'il est bon de faire non seulement ce que nous pouvons en bénéficier.

Les médias africains peuvent aider et ils ont besoin de faire plus d'intensifier le jeu. Ils doivent se considérer comme beaucoup plus d'un simple agent d'information, de divertissement ou de fonction sociale. Ils doivent se rendre compte que l'Esprit Africain attend une inspiration et chaque portrait négatif ou dégradant qu'ils publient, ne fera que décourager le potentiel de la grandeur du peuples africains. Aux membres des médias Africains, nous disons: «Que vos imaginations volent, Créez des innovations que vous ne pouvez pas encore créer, Postulez ces théories qui semblent si impossibles, Imaginez un monde où l'Afrique est roi et quand vous avez fini, envoyez cette information afin que Les Rois d'Afrique parmi nous peuvent se lever, gouverner et nous conduire avec grâce à un plus grand demain, Aujourd'hui " - Tanho Attah

Arrêtons d'essayer de contester toujours ou de prouver au contraire le profil des autres et de projeter simplement nos forces et beauté. Si nous utilisons les médias suffisamment longtemps, nous commencerons à modifier les profils attendus. À moins que nous fassions ceci, beaucoup continueront à s'insérer dans ces profils ou nous passerons toute notre vie à essayer de les combattre.
