First and foremost, we all have to admit that it takes a lot of courage to go with the truth especially when it is not very popular and oftentimes, it is not. Many people pretend that they don't know the truth because it takes a strong person to admit and follow the truth. The worst lie is the one we tell ourselves, which is why many are stuck in ways that are preventing them from moving forward. They know that their life is a pretense and yet they just keep up appearances, they are too scared to be themselves. It might not be that you do not know the truth, it might just be that you do not have the courage to walk in it. For anyone who wants to be relevant in a major way, you will have to totally understand who you are and be confident in this who that you know. There is a rise in mental health issues in the present culture where many are under pressure to do something with your life in such a way that people are almost feeling pressured to live lives that are larger than their person and personality can accommodate. It would be foolish to completely fault or put blame on the push coming from modern culture because of how mental health issues are now very rampart. We, as individuals, owe ourselves the ability to stand up for who we are and what we stand for if we have to be able to face the pressure and withstand what society is throwing at us. The major problem is that many people are having to deal with denying who they are and accepting and appreciating where they fit in to be able to make whatever contributions they can. I saw one quote “some people are better than me and I am better than some people, but no one is exactly like me”. This could be a mantra that helps us stand when the pressure really hits hard. Do yourself a favour and free yourself to live your real life. That's the only way you can be fulfilled, happy and stress free. You need to be YOU and be happy to be just YOU to successfully make your contributions in life. Do enjoy a really great week!
