There is a lot going these on days in the motivational space, it is an endless flow of motivational speeches, cliches and conferences. This is supposed to be a really commendable trend and for the most part it is so. However, I have noticed that we have more of those who have head knowledge rather than experiential knowledge about this subject matter and for me, that is quite a challenge. We have many who have read books and attended conferences who do not practice what they have learnt in order to improve their lives by living with intention. What happens with these people is that they find it difficult to take corrections that can help them make a difference because they believe that they already have what it takes. Others use the knowledge to project an imaginary life for themselves which is quite pathetic in my opinion. Some of us need to reevaluate what we do with the knowledge and information we acquire. If you do not put knowledge into proper use, it can become a stumbling block to progress and success. Do not just write and post motivation, live it, improve your life and make a difference with your life. Motivation should help you and those around you go further, faster. It is not a trophy that should be displayed on your shelves or on your social media feeds. Enjoy a great week!

MentorAfrica looks to help youths, through various life transition mentoring topics, to prepare youths for development and leadership that will help them change the African narrative whenever the opportunity arises.
