Most ideas that changed the world were considered foolish by those who heard them before they were developed, but they are now considered brilliant by everyone who sees their manifestation. I believe there is a reason why most incubation is done in isolated and often dark environments. People generally cannot stretch their imagination beyond their immediate environment until they are forced to do so by an idea that invades their minds. I use the word invade because most times, the idea comes from a "stray thought" that has no present recognizable relation to what is available around you. This is the reason it is difficult for others to grasp what you are trying to describe because they cannot stretch their imagination in that direction. It is important that we incubate our idea for a period before we unveil it to those around us. We have to take note of those who will be able to throw light on what we are incubating by the experiences they have also had, if not many will kill the idea before it is born. Not everybody has the capacity to understand what you are incubating and that is alright. Learn to walk away from people and situations that can cause you to abort your idea before the incubation period is over. Many great ideas have been aborted, they never saw the light of day because the visionary did not have enough staying power to get through the incubation period without soliciting advice from those who had never carried an idea to full conception. Those who seek early validation and applause will never birth anything great because they lack the courage, persistence, perseverance and commitment to grow and mature their dreams in the dark room of rejection and loneliness. Have a great day!
AFRICA IS A CONTINENT ON THE MOVE AND HER YOUTHS ARE HER GREATEST RESOURCE."We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can always build our youth for the future."Franklin D. Roosevelt.
