PAN-AFRICAN ISSUES 3 - LES AFFAIRES PAN-AFRICAINS 3

I listened to a girl tell the story of how her eating disorder started. She said when she was in high school a boy brought a drawing to her and told her that, that is how she is going to be; an overweight lady. Believe it or not, the image stuck with her to the point that she began to skip meals and got to a point where she had to be treated with an eating disorder. It is amazing how what people say about others can bring their lives to a complete halt or even totally destroy their lives. What is unfortunate is the fact that the victim can actually come out of this situation but a lot of people just hang on to that negativity and refuse to do anything about coming out of it. They are totally beat down and they continue to look unto those who have injured them and want to get validation or solution which they will never get. As frustrating as this may sound, Africans are looking unto those who keep telling them they are a dark continent full of corruption and ignorance to get their validation. How ludicrous! Why should I help you get out of my grip when I will lose all the benefit that I am getting from you? It would be to my favor if you keep believing you are no good or substandard and calling yourself “black man with black mind” Africans should better wake up and do what the rest of the world have done, pull up their sleeves and take their destiny in their hands. Africans should look inwards and stop crawling around looking for help from those who are not ready to give it unless they will benefit immensely.
