The lion does not roar as it devours its prey, it roars when it is preparing to attack it. We see how boxers are brought together before the match for a conference and they get within inches of each other to "roar". Every battle in life has a pre-match confrontation with intimidation. If you can successfully confront with what intimidates you, the battle is halfway done. What the roar confuses the prey and possibly stops it in its tracks. I also believe that it helps the lion to reassure itself about its strength and helps it gather the momentum it needs to get the job done. Everyone of us has the capacity to roar but many cannot do it because they have been intimidated by life. Many cannot overcome the intimidation that labels and profiling that has been put on them so they do not even attempt to open their mouths to roar. Some open their mouths but no sound comes out because of the fear of what people are going to say. Many spend all their time trying to analyse what intimidates them and never get to the point of roaring and getting to do something with their life. The lion does not look at the size of the animal before it roars, if you continue to magnify the odds against you, life will intimidate and marginalise you. When you roar, you release strength; there is no man who goes to war without some element of fear. If you want succeed, you will have to roar, step out in spite of what tries to intimidate you and conquer your fears as you go along. The more progress you make, the less fearful you become. The less fearful you become, the more confident you become in who you are and what you can achieve. Enjoy your day!
