Not everything that is lost can be retrieved. There are things you have to let go of if you intend to succeed in life. There are many people who find it difficult to move from some failed experiences or relationships and this prevents them from moving forward. All the indices point to the fact that it is done and dusted yet, they cannot move on.
We often forget that we can go back to where we started and begin again. No matter how you try to gather water that has been spilled, you will never be able to get it back. You may get some back but it will be mixed with substances that have made the water lose its usefulness. The ability to go back to where you got the water from in the first instance will save you a lot of trouble.
However, many people find this difficult because they do not know the origin of the water. They probably got it from someone along the way and did not bother to make any inquiries as to the source of the water. It is difficult to successfully work with a vision that was not originally yours. We are in the era of information overload and we can easily copy ideas. Copying an idea is not a big deal but seeing it through to the end without the input of the original visionary is a different matter all together.
Many people who find it difficult to let go either do not know how to begin again or are too lazy to do so. When you are familiar with the source, it will not take you time to make up your mind. If you are too lazy to start all over, you might not succeed even if you were to start something else. Success only makes room for those who see beginning again as a new opportunity.
The time wasted trying to scoop water from the ground will be much more valuable if it is spent on going back to get more water from the source. The former will be time wasted while the latter is time invested. Before you start carrying water to any important destination, make sure that you know the source. There are always obstacles that can cause water to spill along the way.
When we encounter situations in which it becomes impossible to move forward, they can sometimes be devastating. No one can make light of that fact. But the earlier we realise that we have reached a dead end, the quicker we can make the best decision. Feeling sorry for yourself is never a solution. You need to congratulate yourself for how far you came and tearfully think of going back to the drawing board.
The decision to let go is not for the weak as some may assume. It is for the courageous who can admit the failure and who can take time to study where they stumbled so that it does not repeat itself. Stop beating yourself up over an irreparable damage that you see as a fail and start looking to see the opportunity that might hidden in it.

Ce n'est pas tout ce qu'on est perd qu'on ne peu récupérer. Il y a des choses que vous devez abandonner si vous voulez réussir dans la vie. De nombreuses personnes ont du mal à sortir de certaines expériences ou relations ratées, ce qui les empêche d'avancer. Tous les indices indiquent que c’est fini, c'est tout, mais ils ne peuvent pas avancer.
Nous oublions souvent que nous pouvons revenir là où nous avons commencé et recommencer. Peu importe la manière dont vous essayez de récupérer l’eau déversée, vous ne pourrez jamais la récupérer. Vous pourrez en récupérer, mais elle sera mélangée à des substances qui ont fait perdre à l'eau son utilité. La possibilité de retourner à l’endroit d’où vous avez obtenu l’eau en premier lieu vous évitera bien des ennuis.
Cependant, beaucoup de gens trouvent cela difficile car ils ne connaissent pas l’origine de l’eau. Ils l'ont probablement obtenu de quelqu'un en cours de route et n'ont pas pris la peine de se renseigner sur la source de l'eau. Il est difficile de réussir à travailler avec une vision qui n’était pas la vôtre à l’origine. Nous sommes à l’ère de la surcharge d’informations et nous pouvons facilement copier des idées. Copier une idée n’est pas une grosse affaire, mais la mener à bien jusqu’au bout sans la contribution du visionnaire original est une tout autre affaire.
Beaucoup de gens qui ont du mal à lâcher prise ne savent pas comment recommencer ou sont trop paresseux pour le faire. Lorsque vous connaissez la source, il ne vous faudra pas de temps pour vous décider. Si vous êtes trop paresseux pour tout recommencer, vous risquez de ne pas réussir même si vous deviez commencer autre chose. Le succès ne laisse place qu’à ceux qui voient le recommencement comme une nouvelle opportunité.
Le temps perdu à essayer d’extraire l’eau du sol sera bien plus précieux s’il est consacré à retourner chercher plus d’eau à la source. Le premier sera du temps perdu tandis que le second sera du temps investi. Avant de commencer à transporter de l’eau vers une destination importante, assurez-vous de connaître la source. Il y a toujours des obstacles qui peuvent provoquer des fuites d'eau en cours de route.
Lorsque nous rencontrons des situations dans lesquelles il devient impossible d’avancer, elles peuvent parfois être dévastatrices. Personne ne peut prendre ce fait à la légère. Mais plus tôt nous nous rendrons compte que nous sommes dans une impasse, plus vite nous pourrons prendre la meilleure décision. S'apitoyer sur son sort n'est jamais une solution. Vous devez vous féliciter du chemin parcouru et penser en larmes à retourner à la planche à dessin.
La décision de lâcher prise n’appartient pas aux faibles, comme certains pourraient le penser. C'est pour les courageux qui peuvent admettre leur échec et qui peuvent prendre le temps d'étudier là où ils ont trébuché afin que cela ne se reproduise pas. Arrêtez de vous en vouloir à cause d’un dommage irréparable que vous considérez comme un échec et commencez à chercher l’opportunité qui pourrait s’y cacher.
