Looking at natural vegetation, especially for those of us in the rain forest region, it is almost impossible for us to imagine because of its density, how this can be transformed into any form of urban beauty with all its accompanying luxury. However, people like Walt Disney did just that and many more are changing their landscape by their ability to dream and hold unto the dream until it is fulfilled. This is what really makes the huge difference, the ability to translate your dream, hold on to it and then bring it to tangible reality. It is difficult for people who were not there at the beginning of the journey to believe the raw materials that were used to achieve a particular dream because of the way the result differs from what it now looks like after everything has been converted. This is the reason why many are so discouraged when they see that the raw materials they have to work with do not have any resemblance to the finished product they have in mind. Only an artist knows the final beauty of the work and will continue until they arrive at the finished image they envisioned even in the presence of harsh criticisms. In spite of all the negative comments they will get from those who see the work in progress without the understanding of the final picture the artist has in mind, they continue unabated. Every landscape can be changed by those who are determined to make a change and to add value to an existing situation. All most people seem to see is the existing landscape and all the dangers and challenges it poses. If we are not careful, we could allow all we hear from others to drown our imagination and we would then be forced to modify our beautiful picture or totally erase it. History has proven that if we start by taking one piece of the land at a time and shaping it to the pattern we want, the picture will gradually emerge. That does not mean we will not come across stubborn weeds and shrubs, it only means that every one of these will give us a chance to make choices and express our creativity in such a way that will help us get better and help others along the way as well. What is most important is for us to realise that it is always possible to make a situation better than we met it. If we are intentional enough, we will discover that there is always room to add value. Let us live to do whatever we can to change and improve our landscape. Do have a lovely day!

En regardant la végétation naturelle, en particulier pour ceux d'entre nous dans la région de la forêt tropicale, il est presque impossible pour nous d'imaginer en raison de sa densité, comment cela peut être transformé en toute forme de beauté urbaine avec tout le luxe qui l'accompagne. Cependant, des gens comme Walt Disney ont fait exactement cela et beaucoup d'autres changent leur paysage par leur capacité à rêver et à s'en tenir au rêve jusqu'à ce qu'il se réalise. C'est ce qui fait vraiment la différence, la capacité de traduire votre rêve, de s'y accrocher et de l'amener ensuite à une réalité tangible. Il est difficile pour les gens qui n'étaient pas là au début du voyage de croire les matières premières qui ont été utilisées pour réaliser un rêve particulier en raison de la façon dont le résultat diffère de ce à quoi il ressemble maintenant une fois que tout a été converti. C'est la raison pour laquelle beaucoup sont si découragés lorsqu'ils voient que les matières premières avec lesquelles ils doivent travailler n'ont aucune ressemblance avec le produit fini qu'ils ont en tête. Seul un artiste connaît la beauté finale de l'œuvre et continuera jusqu'à ce qu'il parvienne à l'image finale qu'il envisageait même en présence de critiques sévères. Malgré tous les commentaires négatifs qu'ils recevront de ceux qui voient l'œuvre en cours sans comprendre l'image finale que l'artiste a en tête, ils continuent sans relâche. Chaque paysage peut être changé par ceux qui sont déterminés à faire un changement et à ajouter de la valeur à une situation existante. Tout ce que la plupart des gens semblent voir, c'est le paysage existant et tous les dangers et défis qu'il pose. Si nous ne faisons pas attention, nous pourrions laisser tout ce que nous entendons des autres noyer notre imagination et nous serions alors obligés de modifier notre belle image ou de l'effacer totalement. L'histoire a prouvé que si nous commençons par prendre une parcelle de terrain à la fois et en la façonnant selon le modèle que nous voulons, l'image émergera progressivement. Cela ne signifie pas que nous ne rencontrerons pas de mauvaises herbes et d'arbustes tenaces, cela signifie seulement que chacun de ceux-ci nous donnera une chance de faire des choix et d'exprimer notre créativité de manière à nous aider à nous améliorer et à aider ainsi les autres en cours de route. Le plus important pour nous, c'est de comprendre qu'il est toujours possible de rendre une situation meilleure que nous ne l'avons rencontrée. Si nous sommes suffisamment intentionnels, nous découvrirons qu'il y a toujours de la place pour ajouter de la valeur.
