"The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago, the
second best time is now" - Chinese proverb
"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you
can start where you are and change the ending" - C.S Lewis
A lot of people give up too soon because we tend
to compartmentalize our lives. Once something is not done in an allotted time,
we become discouraged and give up. If you could not do it when you were
supposed to, instead of regrets, start from where you are now. The best time to
seize the opportunity might have been twenty years ago but life has a way of
giving us another opportunity to do what we are meant to do to contribute our
bit to human development if we are smart enough to recognise and take it. It is
only too late for those who believe it is too late and give up. So long as you
still have life in you and are still determined to make some impact with your remaining
time, there will always be opportunities for you to accomplish your vision. The
problem is not with the opportunities, it is with our ability or inability to
receive what life presents. No matter where you live on this planet, there are
always opportunities to make a difference and add your quota to human
development. Most times, many miss their opportunities because they are either
looking elsewhere for something that is right in front of them or they are constantly
focused on their limitations. You can only find what you are looking for, if
you cannot see the opportunity, you are probably looking in the wrong direction
or you are looking for the wrong thing. Adjust your lens and align it with your
vision. Forget about lost opportunities and you will see new ones waiting to
help you express yourself and make the necessary impact from where you are
today. Do have a great day!
"Le meilleur moment pour planter un arbre c'est depuis vingt ans, le deuxième meilleur moment est maintenant" - proverbe chinois
"Vous ne pouvez pas revenir en arrière et changer le début, mais vous pouvez commencer où vous êtes et changer la fin" - C.S Lewis
