USE YOUR OWN PLATFORM FIRST - FAITES ATTENTION A VOTRE PROPRE PLATEFORME D'ABORD

The rate at which people want to be famous these days, is alarming. The unfortunate thing is that most who hurry to fame crash out and stay out. In this age of everything instant, many have been so burnt they don't want to ever try again. I come across many people, especially youths, who want to be on the world stage without mastering their own personal stage. Most people don't pay attention to the fact that we all have our individual platforms on which to shine before we can proceed to gain  recognition on public platforms. You have to be able to conquer your own audience before others will permit you to have a joint performance with them. I am amazed by youths who come to me not to learn but to prove to me that they have got what it takes without any evidence to buttress their claims. Immediately they are made to understand that they need to follow due process to reach their goal, you won't hear from them again. The world does not reward those who dream, it only recognises and rewards excellence won by those who have paid the necessary prize to accomplish it. If you want to effect major change and make a difference in world, you will have to start from an excellent performance on your own stage. Have a lovely day! 

La rapidité avec laquelle les gens veulent être célèbres de nos jours est alarmant. Ce qui est malheureux, c’est que la plupart des gens qui se précipitent vers la gloire s’écroulent et ne peuvent jamais s'enlever. En cet âge que tout est instantané, beaucoup ont été si brûlés qu'ils ne veulent plus jamais essayer. Je rencontre beaucoup de gens, en particulier des jeunes, qui veulent être sur la scène mondiale sans maîtriser leur propre scène. La plupart des gens ne font pas attention au fait que nous avons tous nos plates-formes individuelles sur lesquelles nous devons briller avant de pouvoir obtenir une reconnaissance sur les plateformes publiques. Vous devez être capable de conquérir votre propre audience avant que les autres ne vous permettent d’avoir une performance commune avec eux. Je suis émerveillé par les jeunes qui viennent chez moi pour ne pas apprendre mais pour me prouver qu'ils ont ce qu'il faut sans aucune preuve pour étayer leurs affirmations. Au moment qu'on les fait comprendre qu'ils doivent suivre une procédure régulière pour atteindre leur objectif, vous ne les voyez plus. Le monde ne récompense pas ceux qui rêvent, il ne fait que reconnaître et récompenser l'excellence gagnée par ceux qui ont payé le prix nécessaire pour l'accomplir. Si vous voulez effectuer des changements majeurs et faire une différence dans le monde, vous devrez commencer par une excellente performance sur votre propre scène. Passez une bonne journee!

Many a purpose have been truncated because the visionary turned their attention from fulfilling their purpose to commercialising their gift. Purpose is using your gifts and your talents to improve lives and society. Financial gain is an offshoot of pursuing your purpose, it is not the goal. Unfortunately, many today are more focused on what they can give to get money and fame rather than what they can do to make a difference, improve lives and leave a legacy. Personally, I am very concerned about the way most youths are primarily seeking ways to monetize their gifts because this limits their creativity to just what they can do to make money and become famous. For a developing continent like Africa, that is not music to the ears at all. Only selfless pursuit can bring about lasting impact. When you seek to improve the community by doing whatever you focus on with excellence, people will naturally gravitate towards exceptional passion. Fleeting success is based on financial pursuit. Lasting success is based on having the kind of impact that can change the narrative wherever you are and on whomever you come in contact with. Many have left their footprints in the sands of time not because of their wealth but because of their creative, innovation and their inventions. Enjoy your weekend! 

 

Beaucoup de buts ont été tronqués parce que le visionnaire a détourné son objectif et a choisi de commercialiser son don. La poursuite d'un but c'est l'utilisation de vos dons et vos talents pour améliorer la vie et la société. Le gain financier est une conséquence de la poursuite de votre objectif, ce n'est pas le but. Malheureusement, nombreux sont ceux qui se concentrent aujourd'hui sur ce qu'ils peuvent faire pour obtenir de l'argent et de la célébrité, plutôt que sur ce qu'ils peuvent faire pour améliorer la vie et laisser un héritage. Personnellement, je suis très troublée par la façon dont la plupart des jeunes cherchent avant tout à monétiser leurs dons, car cela limite leur créativité à ce qu'ils peuvent faire pour gagner de l'argent et devenir célèbre. Pour un continent en développement comme l’Afrique, ce n’est pas du tout la bonne musique pour les oreilles. Seule la poursuite désintéressée peut avoir un impact durable. Lorsque vous cherchez à améliorer la communauté en faisant tout ce que vous privilégiez avec excellence, les gens graviteront naturellement vers une passion exceptionnelle. Le succès fugace est basé sur la poursuite financière. Un succès durable est basé sur le type d’impact qui peut changer la narration partout où que vous soyez et sur ceux avec qui vous êtes en contact. Beaucoup ont laissé leurs empreintes dans le temps, non pas à cause de leur richesse, mais à cause de leur créativité, de leur innovation et de leurs inventions. Passe un bon weekend!

You might just be one idea away from the solution. If you don't allow your focus to be broken by the amount of of time, energy and resources you have put in, the idea will come from an unexpected source. The wait and the journey will be worth it. Many give up just before they get to the finish line because they are blinded by exhaustion. Vous pourriez être juste une idée de la solution. Si vous ne permettez pas que votre attention soit brisée par la quantité de temps, d'énergie et de ressources que vous avez investie, l'idée viendra d'une source inattendue. L'attente et le voyage en vaudront la peine. Beaucoup abandonnent juste avant d'arriver à la ligne d'arrivée parce qu'ils sont aveuglés par l'épuisement.
