LET'S START NOW (COMMENCONS MAINTENANT)

Looking only at our handicaps and development challenges will not move us forward. That would be likened to driving a car while we are looking at the rearview mirror. We have to look at our challenges only with the view of doing something about them. One of the things we quickly need to confront is bringing our youths to a place where they realise that the future of Africa is in their hands and that they have all it takes to do this if they put their minds to it. Let's start now.



Vous recherchez uniquement à nos handicaps et les défis de développement va nous pas avancer. Ce serait assimilé à conduire une voiture alors que nous nous penchons sur le rétroviseur. Nous devons nous pencher sur les défis que le point de vue de faire quelque chose à leur sujet. Une des choses que nous avons rapidement besoin de se confronter amène nos jeunes à un endroit où ils se rendent compte que l'avenir de l'Afrique est dans leur mains et qu'ils ont tout ce qu'il faut faire si ils ont mis leurs esprits à cela. LET'S STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS (ARRETONS-NOUS CETTE FOLLIE)

Let the foolishness stop in our generation. We have to prepare the next generation for Africa's giant strides. We must not allow the upcoming youths who would take over the reigns of leadership at all levels of nation building to continue in the mindless foolishness that we see all over Africa. Thankfully, a lot of Africans and lovers of this continent have started to change their perspective to the direction of an Africa that is emerging from the corrupt dark ages of greed and underdevelopment. We must try to mentor the youths in what ever environment we find ourselves. We must define our own movement forward, based on what we have discovered rather than on what we have been made to believe about this continent.

La folie doit s'arreter avec notre generation. C'est a nous de preparer la generation suivante pour les grands   etapes de development auxquels l'Afrique s'apreter. Nous ne devons pas permettre a notre prochaine generation, la jeunesse, qui seriont les responsables dans tous les niveaux de developments nationaux, a contiuer dans cette direction insouciante et folle qui se trouvent partout en Afrique.Heureusement que beaucoup d'afrricains et d'amis du continent commencent maintenant a changer leurs perspectives en ce qui concerne un avenir d'un Afrique qui resort des eres d'obscurite de la corruption, d'avidite et du sous-development. Essayons nous de les guider a travers le mentorat dans tous les domaines possibles. C'est a nous de definer le projet de notre futur en nous basons sur ce que nous avons decouvert de notre vie et pas sur ce que les autres nous ont communique.

We  must allow history to take its course by allowing ourselves to believe that we can be a part of history. WAHO/OOAS is doing a fantastic job in the ECOWAS sub-region and we should emulate her to bring Africa to the next developmental era. Kudos WAHO/OOAS for the wonderful job of mentoring through your YPIP program.

WE GOT WHAT IT TAKES

When you have a task before you, the most important thing is for you to know whether you have the ability to do it or not. Self-defeat is the most paralyzing of all fears. You must be confident that you have what it takes to accomplish the  task before you or you have the ability to prepare for the task before you. What most of us as Africans need, is the belief in ourselves and the fact that we are not "cursed" or inherently evil; that we have what it takes, if we try, to make Africa a fulfilled continent.

C'EST LE MOMENT POUR L'AFRIQUE

Partout on decrit cette periode comme le moment de l'Afrique. Le moment quand tout le monde tourne vers l"afrique pour voir le continent ou tout se passe et tout est possible. Malheureusement quand meme, les africains ne sont pas pret a acceuillir le monde. Que faire donc? C'est la raison pour laqeulle nous avons decide d'ouvrir ce blog pour que nous puissions nous preparer. Nous nous sommes besion l'un et l'autre pour cette tache.
