The spirit of excellence does not vilify; it concentrates on giving its best to whatever it does irrespective of its competition. Excellence does not need to put others down to shine; it just shines because it produces the very best through understanding and diligence. Until you stop putting your energies into pulling down your competitors and start concentrating on how to bring out the best in you, you can never excel. There have been cases of cosmetic brands set up just to compete with another brand that was doing very well; it failed.  There was a cable TV station set up and it put all its efforts in taking the most promising stations of its competitors rather than excel in its strengths; it failed. There are political affiliations whose main objectives are to destroy their opponents rather than produce a better alternative; they fail. There are relationships entered into just to spite previous or rival partners; they fail.  The spirit of excellence is too noble to condescend to the level of unhealthy competition. The spirit of excellence is in its own class encouraging others to aspire to go higher, it is a pace setter not a dirty fighter. If you want to excel you must avoid people or groups whose major intent is to undo competition no matter the cost.

L'esprit de l'excellence ne diffamer guere , il se concentre sur comment produire de son mieux dans tout ce qu'elle fait indépendamment de ses concurrents. L'excellence n'a pas besoin d' abaisser les autres pour briller , il brille juste parce qu'il produit le meilleur grâce à la compréhension et la diligence . Jusqu'à ce que vous vous arrêtez de mettre vos énergies en tirant vers le bas  vos concurrents et de se concentrer sur la façon de faire ressortir le meilleur en vous, vous ne pourriez jamais exceller . Il ya eu des cas de marques de cosmétiques mis en place juste pour rivaliser avec une autre marque qui a été fait très bien , il a échoué. Il y avait une station de télévision par câble mise en place et ils ont mis tous ses efforts en prenant des chines les plus valables de ses concurrents plutôt que d'exceller dans ses forces , il a échoué. Il ya des affiliations politiques dont les objectifs principaux sont de détruire leurs adversaires plutôt que de produire une meilleure alternative , ils échouent. Il existe des relations conclus simplement par rancune contre les anciens partenaires ou rivaux , ils échouent. L'esprit de l'excellence est trop noble pour s'abaisser au niveau de concurrence malsaine . L'esprit de l'excellence est dans sa propre classe, encourageant les autres à aspirer de monter plus haut , il s'agit de mener le train et pas un combattant malsain. Si vous voulez exceller , vous devez éviter les gens ou les groupes dont le but principal est de défaire la concurrence , peu importe le coût .

SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE 2 - L'ESPRIT D'EXCELLENCE 2

Treasure can be surrounded by trash without losing its value. The spirit of excellence is like diamond that cannot lose its value even when it is clogged in a drain. We give a lot of excuses that prevent us from excelling and doing our best to bring solutions to the challenges that confront us and our communities. In Africa, for example, the most common complaints are corruption and bad leadership or the lack of it. Even though you cannot put an end to these, you should not continue the vicious cycle; you have the power to break the chain where you are if you understand that you can start your generation or your community on a different path. The magnitude of the challenges you face should either provoke the strength and excellence in you to overcome them or they will reveal your weaknesses that will make you turn and run from them. The spirit of excellence will separate you from the rest; when people say it can’t be done, excellence will find a way.

Le trésor peut être entouré par les ordures sans perdre sa valeur. L'esprit de l'excellence est comme le diamant qui ne peut pas perdre sa valeur, même quand il est bouché dans un drain. Nous faisons beaucoup d'excuses qui nous empêchent d'exceller et de faire de notre mieux pour apporter des solutions aux défis auxquels nous sommes confrontés et ou dans nos communautés. En Afrique, par exemple, les plaintes les plus courantes sont la corruption et la mauvaise administration ou l'absence de celle-ci. Même si vous ne pouvez pas mettre un terme à cela, vous ne devriez pas continuer le cycle vicieux, vous avez le pouvoir de briser la chaîne où vous êtes, si vous comprenez que vous pouvez diriger votre génération ou votre communauté vers chemin différent. L'ampleur des difficultés que vous rencontrez devrait provoquer soit la force et l'excellence en vous pour les surmonter ou ils révéler vos faiblesses qui vous fera tourner et de vous vous echapper. L'esprit d'excellence vous séparer du reste, quand les gens disent qu'il ne peut pas être fait, l'excellence va trouver un moyen.

OF PARROTS AND EAGLES - DES PERROQUETS ET DES AIGLES

The strength of the parrot is in its ability to repeat what others have said while the strength of the eagle is in its ability to soar above turbulent weather as it rides the storm. Parrots are docile, they spend most of their time idling and observing what goes in their environment, that is why all they do is to repeat the noise around them. Eagles enjoy being above the normal activities of other animals, when the storm is approaching, they are high above watching for the eye of the storm so they can ride it not so they can assess how frightening it is.  They are excited by their ability to ride on what is an obstacle to those under the storm. We must not sit and wait for what others will do to change the situation around us because while you are inactive the temptation to behave like a parrot and discourage others with your repetition of all that is not working, becomes very attractive. It will be more beneficial to you and all around you if you  take action and do what needs to be done, from where you are and with what you have. If all wait for who will initiate the action, there will be nobody to do what anybody could do. Like the eagle, always  position yourself from where you can ride the storm. Always be prepared to start something about the challenges around you and you will be surprised at how many people are waiting for someone to take the first step so they can follow.

La force du perroquet est dans sa capacité de répéter ce que d'autres ont dit alors que la force de l'aigle est dans sa capacité de s'élever au-dessus temps turbulent alors qu'il chevauche la tempête. Les perroquets sont dociles, ils passent la plus grande partie de leur temps au ralenti et observent ce qui se passe dans leur environnement, c'est pourquoi ils ne font que répéter des bruits autour d'eux. Les aigles apprécient d'être au-dessus des activités normales des autres animaux, quand la tempête approche, ils sont au-dessus de tout recherchant l'œil de la tempête afin qu'ils puissent le chevaucher et non pour évaluer à quel point c'est effrayant. Ils sont excités par leur capacité à surmonter ce qui est un obstacle pour ceux qui sont sous la tempête. Nous ne devons pas nous asseoir et attendre ce que les autres vont faire pour changer la situation autour de nous, parce que pendant que vous êtes inactif  la tentation de se comporter comme un perroquet et décourager les autres avec votre répétition de tout ce qui ne fonctionne pas, devient très attrayant. Ce sera plus bénéfique pour vous et tout autour de vous si vous agissez et faites ce qu'il faut, d'où vous êtes et avec ce qui vous etes disponible. Si tous attendent qui initiera l'action, il n'y aura personne pour faire ce que n'importe qui pourrait faire. Comme l'aigle, positionnez-vous toujours d'où vous pouvez chevaucher la tempête. Soyez toujours prêt à commencer quelque chose à propos des défis qui vous entourent et vous serez surpris du nombre de personnes qui attendent que quelqu'un fasse le premier pas pour pouvoir le suivre.

The way we go about achieving our purpose is as important as the vision itself because the value you place on your vision will determine the impact you will have. The success of your vision should not be measured by the amount of money you make but by the amount of impact it makes on society. When people think of pursuing a purpose, they should have a sense of delivering a service not that of achieving fame. Stories abound of how most great inventors had the mind to solve a problem as their basis for doing the great work they did. No one knew what they were doing until they had the breakthroughs they had. The only way to be this focused and steadfast in your achievement is to have the spirit of excellence which will drive you beyond the limit of other existing accomplishments. The reason people do shoddy jobs with their vision is because they are in a hurry to be known and to make money. The spirit of excellence makes you to go the extra mile and push for something well beyond the norm.

La façon dont nous réalisons notre but est aussi importante que la vision elle-même parce que la valeur que vous placez sur votre vision vous permettra de déterminer l'impact que vous aurez . Le succès de votre vision ne doit pas être mesurée par la quantité d'argent que vous faites , mais par la quantité de l'impact qu'il fait sur ​​la société . Quand les gens pensent de la poursuite d'un but , ils doivent avoir un sens de la prestation d'un service et pas d'atteindre la gloire. Les histoires abondent de la façon dont les grands inventeurs avaient l'esprit pour résoudre un problème comme base pour faire le grand travail qu'ils ont fait . Personne ne savait ce qu'ils faisaient jusqu'à ce qu'ils aient les percées qu'ils avaient. La seule façon d'avoir une attitude mise au point et constant dans votre réussite est d'avoir l'esprit d'excellence qui vous conduira au-delà de la limite d'autres réalisations existantes . La raison pour laquelle les gens font des emplois de mauvaise qualité concernant leur vision , c'est parce qu'ils sont pressés d'être connu et  de faire de l'argent . L'esprit d'excellence vous pousse d'aller le mile supplémentaire et d'accomplir quelque chose de bien au-delà de la norme .
