It is interesting to watch the landscape as the season
changes, it reminds me of the different seasons of the human life; they say
only one thing is constant – CHANGE. Unfortunately, that is what most of us fear
the most, we expect to go through life on a smooth road with the same scenery but
life would be too uninteresting, without any adventure if that was the case. We should consider changes in the
seasons of our lives as changes in the scenery and adjust our viewing point. In
the midst of all the dryness, dead trees and leaves, I see some plants that
continue to sprout and grow. I believe these are the ones who are so positioned
that they collect all the moisture they can from the soil and use it to their
advantage. We need to bloom where we are planted and stop wishing we were someplace
else. We ought to learn to suck in all the nutrients in our environment and use
them to nourish our dreams rather than sit there and think about how some have been
given a better deal in life. There is no soil without nutrients, no environment without opportunities. The earlier you realise that even in the dry
conditions, you can still bloom, the more likely you are to live a life of
impact. Even in that drought, decide to hang in there because the dew and the
rain are just around the corner. Be productive right where you are now. Enjoy your
day!
