PASSION AND CONVICTION - PASSION ET CONVICTION

I come across a lot of people because of my kind of job who are very interested in discussing how passionate they are about some dream or vision. As I try to understand what they really have in mind, I discover that they just pick an area of interest and try to build passion around it. They really don't have any profound interest or understanding about what they are pursuing. They have no deep conviction about their intentions, all they know is that to be successful, you have to to be passionate. Passion is for the most part, a word that is trending in these our times. You feel out of place if you are not passionate about something, so we all have to have something we are passionate about. This in itself is not a bad thing, but it can be counterproductive if our passion is not founded on a personal conviction. Without a well-grounded conviction about the thing we are passionate about, passion becomes just a fad. Genuine passion is built on a conviction that drives us to do what we do with everything we've got. Do have a lovely day!

Je rencontre beaucoup de gens à cause de mon type d'emploi qui sont très intéressés par le fait qu'ils sont passionnés par certains rêves ou visions. En essayant de comprendre ce qu’ils ont vraiment à l’esprit, je découvre qu’ils choisissent simplement un domaine d’intérêt et essaient de susciter leur passion. Ils n'ont vraiment aucun intérêt profond ni aucune compréhension de ce qu'ils poursuivent. Ils n'ont aucune conviction profonde quant à leurs intentions. Tout ce qu'ils savent, c'est que pour réussir, il faut être passionné. La passion est pour la plupart, un mot qui trend dans ces temps-ci. Vous ne vous sentez pas à l'aise si vous n'êtes pas passionné par quelque chose, alors nous devons tous avoir quelque chose qui nous passionne. Ce n'est pas en soi une mauvaise chose, mais cela peut être contre-productif si notre passion n'est pas fondée sur une conviction personnelle. Sans une conviction bien fondée sur ce qui nous passionne, la passion devient un caprice. La véritable passion repose sur une conviction qui nous pousse à faire ce que nous faisons avec tout ce que nous avons. Passez une bonne journée!
