INNOVATION, FINANCING & COMPETITIVENESS: TRUE CROSS ROAD FOR THE AFRICAN CONTINENT
There is a positive and statistically significant relationship between entrepreneurship and innovation. The absence of entrepreneurs signifies in a sense the inexistence of innovation. Innovation is weak in Africa, not because people who are able to innovate do not exist, but because entrepreneurship is not allowed to flourish.
One of the essential roles of institutions is to foster entrepreneurship or to turn entrepreneurship into market activities rather than political or survival activities. Unfortunately, a large part of African countries looking for 'political rents' poses serious problems. The problem of corruption refers directly to the problem of political and social equilibrium It is essential to find the means to break with these sub-optimal equilibria to change things. It is the key to developing entrepreneurship therefore, innovation in Africa.

  1. What comes to my mind when I see this picture is that it shall be impossible to transform people living in food emergency situations or in any other survival emergency situation into warriors, unless they have the gut feeling this combat will help them solve their issue instantly, their only living concern being the former one.
That's why I keep saying that extreme indigence should always be worked out first.
