TIME TO START-NOTRE MOMENT

When we begin to look at things from another perspective, it is interesting to note how different our opinion on those same issues were before we started seeing them from another angle. All we need to do at times to move from one point to another, is change the way we perceive things. However, it can be a very daunting task to begin to look at something differently after you have formed your opinion on a matter for a long period of time. Africa has been a receiving continent for a very long time, the mentality of ""we have not much to offer have been with us for decades,maybe, centuries. How do we begin to see ourselves differently- a continent that has something to offer to the world? How do we come into a position of relevance in the global scheme of things? This image has to be cultivated in us, individually and collectively before we can start to work in a way that corresponds with that image. Now is the time to start, we have been frozen in time for too long. Wonderful potentials have been locked up for long enough.

Quand nous commençons à regarder les choses d'un autre point de vue, il est intéressant de noter à quel point notre opinion était sur ​​ces mêmes questions avant que nous avons commencé à les voir sous un autre angle. Tout ce que nous devons faire à temps pour passer d'un point à un autre, est de changer la façon dont nous percevons les choses. Toutefois, il peut être une tâche très ardue pour commencer à regarder les choses autrement après que vous avez formé votre opinion sur un sujet pendant une longue période de temps. L'Afrique a été un continent qui recoit pour un temps très long, la mentalité de "nous n'avons pas beaucoup à offrir" ont été avec nous depuis des décennies, peut-être, des siècles. Comment pouvons-nous commencer à nous voir différemment comme un continent qui a quelque chose à offrir au monde? Comment pouvons-nous entrer dans une position d'importance dans le schéma global des choses? Cette image doit être cultivée en nous, individuellement et collectivement, avant que nous puissions commencer à travailler d'une manière qui correspond à cette image. Il est maintenant temps de commencer, nous avons été figé dans le temps depuis trop longtemps. Magnifique potentiels ont été enfermés assez longtemps.
