OPPOSITION OR OPPORTUNITY? - OPPOSITION OU OPPORTUNITE?
We have often heard that opportunities do not come in a form in which we recognise them; some say they come wrapped in rags, others say they come wrapped in work etc. However we view this, it is safe to say that opportunities don't come to us in forms that we can recognise in order for us to harness them. Most times they come as oppositions or should we say, challenges. Only those who are smart, bold and resilient will make use of opportunities that come their way. These are people who have prepared themselves to tackle challenges, look beyond the face value and unmask the hidden opportunity. I once read a book The Bondage Of Freedom by Myles Munroe, this title is an oxymoron but the message is clear. Freedom to make your own choices puts you in the bondage of taking responsibilities for your actions, that is why they say that it is easier to live as a slave. As a slave, decisions are made by the slave-master life looks stress-free for the slave; this bondage however pegs progress, the slave can only go as far as its owner permits. Freedom might look stressful, but there lies greatness. We have to be able to enjoy our freedom in order to fulfill our visions, it provides us the ability to make choices. We are thus able to decide whether what we have before us is an opportunity or an opposition in order to succeed in the accomplishment of our dreams. The freedom and ability to distinguish an opportunity from a challenge is key to make our desired progress.
